ReplyDeleteBut..compared to the pencil test..I feel this version has lost something. I preferred the positioning (closer together) of and secondary animation on the eyes (which is far less visible here). Also, the thickness of the arms here seems less well proportioned compared to the body..thinner is cuter. And the pencil test had this ambiguous smile...very charming. Now it's just a green bar. I don't know, maybe you'll disagree, but I think if the difference is this big, it's worth considering how the cleanup affects the intention of your animation, again, which impresses me.
Hey Fons, I thank you for your comments, i did also have the impression that I lost the fluidity found in the pencil test. I find it a bit of a dilemma, how to make it swing like is all hand drawn but retains a clean, bold quality...i'll keep testing :)
